Ghoul in Coffin with PMC on leather cord

Ghoulish Coffin This poor fellow is a bit out of sorts.  The years have not been terribly kind to him.  The lid of his coffin suggests that he rest in peace, however, his eyes don't look as though he has been.  This fun pendant is sure to be just the thing to wear with your halloween attire.  A sort of surprise box to open and give your friends a bit of a fright.  Conservative enough looking to wear to the office but with a hidden bit of ghoulish fun when you open the lid to the coffin.

The coffin lid is made from pure silver (pmc silver clay) and is hinged onto the coffin so you can open it to view the poor body.  The ghould and his coffin are hand sculpted from colored porcelains.

Size:  The coffin is about 2" long.

Apothecary Pendant - Love Potion
Apothecary Vessel Pendant - Love Potion The concoction made famous in a rock n roll song rather than actual apothecary termninology is handpainted on this vessel using underglazes on porcelain. The design, if not the supposed contents, is consistent with those found on 19th century apothecary jars. It is hung on a white satin cord with adjustable chinese button knots so you can wear it short or long. It has a rubber stopper so you can safely fill it with your favorite essential oil or perfume or whatever else you might choose.

Apothecary Vessel Pendant - Digital
Apothecary Vessel Pendant - Digital The leaves of Digitalis purpurea. Used as a sedative and cardiac tonic, slowing and strengthening the heart beat. TR: means tincture.
This vessel is handpainted using underglazes on porcelain. The design is consistent with those found on 19th century apothecary jars. The terminology used is what would have been found on apothecary jars of the era. It is hung on a brown leather cord with adjustable chinese button knots so you can wear it short or long. It has a cork stopper so you can safely fill it with your favorite essential oil or tincture of digitalis or whatever else you might choose.

Apothecary Pendant - Absinthe
Apothecary Vessel Pendant - Absinthe Absinthe is the French word for wormwood. It's pronounced ab'- sant. Wormwood is a plant, or to be more precise, a number of plants classified within the genus Artemisia. Absinthe is an extremely high-proof herbal liquor, traditionally drunk before dinner as an aperitif, rather than, like most liqueurs, after dinner as a digestif.
This vessel is handpainted using underglazes on porcelain. The design is consistent with those found on 19th century apothecary jars. The terminology used is what would have been found on apothecary jars of the era. It is hung on a white satin cord with adjustable chinese button knots so you can wear it short or long. It has a cork stopper so you can safely fill it with your favorite essential oil or absinthe or whatever else you might choose.

Wild Thang Necklace
Wild Thang is one of my very favorite pieces.  This crazy troll is quite a conversation piece. His face just makes people want to laugh and comment. I had great fun making this piece and have had fun each time I've worn it.

This pendant was all hand sculpted from colored porcelains. He is truly one of a kind. His eyes were painted with underglazes. He was then fired to cone 6 (1200C) Then glazed and fired again to cone 6. After the glaze firing the shadowing around his eyes, mouth, and nose and a bit of color on the lips and cheeks were painted on with china paint and then fired again.

He is wearing gold plated earrings. Although the back of the pendant is glazed, I have finished it off with suede leather for a more elegant look and it is signed both on the leather and etched into the glaze beneath.

This pendant is 72mm tall by 52mm wide. It is strung on a braided linen cord with two turquoise beads and adjustable sliding chinese button knots. It is adjustable from 20 to 24 inches not including the pendant.
